Madurai is west of Trichy, it is one of the oldest city of India. We visited the Temple of Sri Meenakshi dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi consort of Shiva.

WOW it's so colourful all these pictures! I'm totally amazed that all theses colour are cleverly paint. It has to be so unreal while you are in front. how Did you feel like meanwhile walking along/across these Temple oldest city and the fact that it was surrounded by so much colour.
ReplyDeleteYes the colours are beautiful and so well preserved, it is like another world! Also the temples are not ruins like in other countries, you can actually see the people coming to prey and do offerings, a great experience!
